First of all, I appoligize for the size of the image. I tried to scale it down more. I tried to crop it. It wouldn't let me. Going any smaller loses so much of the fine detail that I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I designed it as a poster (Which I will SO be buying for myself when its available.) so this is scaled down to 20% of the source document's pixel size.
I started out with the fractal, which I made with Tierazon, shrunk, resized, and tweaked a bit in photoshop. It gave me the same feeling as the drawing I did a while back, "The Bridge", so I tried to recreate that drawing, playing off the fractal as the background. The colours are actually a bit more intense than I had intended, I think I need to tweak the saturation on my television again, but I don't think it is over powering, and will darken slightly in printing anyway.
(Actually, I don't know if it's my television that needs to be tweaked (Which is hooked to the only computer I have that will run photoshop with +2GB files.) or if it's this monitor (hooked to the only computer with a working modem) that needs to be tweaked. If you followed that sentence at all, and feel like commenting on this piece, please let me know if you think this is overly saturated.)
In conclusion, I think this is a pretty picture. It's a gorgeous tunnel, and the light at the end is welcoming and warm. But don't be fooled, even in this happy place, the welcoming light is actually that of an oncoming train.
